My dash pad was cracked on the front drivers side corner. I bought this Permatex kit from Wal*mart.
They have a more expensive one that includes a soldering iron type tool to heat the plastic.
If you have a iron, I would not waste the added expense.

Clean the surface to be repaired
Mix color vinyl with the applicator.
I was going to paint the whole dash
so color was not important.

Start heating the smoothing tool
on your inverted iron.
I held mine up with pop cans.

Spread color vinyl over area.
Pick the grain sheet that matches and
place over the repair.
Run heated smoothing tool over the
grain sheet, reheat as required.
Since mine was on the edge,
